We Went to Huntington Beach to Visit Adam! It was really fun to go visit with Adam and see where he has been living. Taiten and Brycen were so Excited to see Uncle Adam. It was also Grandpa Dyet's first time seeing his son in a very long time, so it was really great being able to bring everyone together! Huntington beach is a great beach for Surfing, the waves are Fabulous! On the flip side it is pretty windy so it was a lot cooler because of the wind factor. It was a wonderful day at any rate!

We Loved. loved going to Santa Monica to the Beach and the Pier!! It was soooo beautiful!! The sand was perfect and it was sooo warm and nice! We had soooo much fun here, wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a Blast at DisneyLand the Weather was perfect not too hot or cold! It was great to have Grandpa Dyet come and have this Memory with the boys! Taiten is already talking about going back for his Birthday in December....He just thinks it is as easy as Magic! The Fireworks at the end of the evening were AMAZING!!! They put together a really nice show!

Here are just a few of the rides that we went on. Taiten's favorite ride was Peter Pan! It was a really cute ride I think we all liked it! The boys really enjoyed every ride for the most part, Tait did not want to do Pirates of the Carriabean at first but Loved it after! They both loved having Grandpa Dyet come too! They both took turns riding with Grandpa!

You can go to Disney Land and pass up It's A Small World!! The boys thought it was so cool! However Jon & I had that song stuck in our head the whole day!! We should have saved it for our last ride!

We all had a Blast in toontown, the boys Loved, loved seeing all the Disney Charters!!

We all really like the Nemo Submarine ride!! We had to wait for 40 mins but it was well worth it....it was pretty Amazing!!

This Was Brycen's Very Favorite Ride! He had sooo much fun driving his car....a little crazy too, good thing he can't drive yet:)

Brycen's Play Day!

Brycen got to have a play date with his buddies! We went to Build a Bear!! The kids all had a blast...even through all the craziness! This was Brycen's first play day without his big brother. It was fun to just focus on him and let him have a special just for him! Taiten was invited to his first Birthday party with a friend from school, he went with daddy to the bouncey house!

Taiten's Surgery......

This was a first for all of us!! Taiten has been needing his tongue clipped and his adenoids out since a baby.... Our Dr. counsled us to wait until his was 4 to make this decision for Taiten.... As things grew worse we knew this would be our next step. The Clipping of the skin under Taiten's tongue is called the frenulum...otherwise known as "tongue tied" The adenoids are a mass of lymphoid tissue in the roof of the nasopharynx, located just inferior to the sphenoid sinus and anterior to the basi-occiput. Large adenoids produce nasal obstruction, mouth breathing, nasal voice, snoring and restless sleep. Taiten was a Champ!!! We explained to him the week of his surgery what would take place and he took it with grace! Tait was so brave! He got all dressed in his cute little pj's and hopped into his little wagon, gave us a kiss and down the hall he went with the anesthesioligist to surgery. It took every thing in me to keep a smile on my face and cheer him on in confidence. The Surgery it's self would only take 40 mins...but recovery would be anohter 2-3 hours. This was really hard on us as parents, you never know what may happen...but of course we kept our chins up high! Jonathan was able to give Taiten a blessing the morning of surgery. To our suprise the surgery went alot quicker than we though, yay! The Dr. Said that on a scale from 1-10 Tait's adenoids were an 11!! Poor little guy....We had to wait for him to wake up to go back and see him....that was the kicker...it seemed like forever before they called us back. Taiten was so cute all druged up....I know that sound terrible. The nurses just loved him to pieces they were all raving over him, and wanted to take him home, but he reassured them that he would not be staying because he needed to get home to his brother! When we got home he asked his dad if he would give him a blessing, which I thought was neat...Taiten really understands why blessing are given and could reconize the spirit he felt when he has recieved them in the past! He is doing great and has had a full recovery to our knowledge!

Taiten's 5th Birthday!!

I cannot believe my little boy turned 5!! It seemed like just yesterday he was my little baby....of course he will always be my baby:) I never thought this day would come so quickly!! We LOVE Taiten sooo much!!! He is a true delight in our life and never ceases to amaze me..... Taiten truly is a bright star shining brightly!!! Any where there is Tait thier is SUNSHINE!! He has such a Love for life and people....you just can't help but smile and this compact little man!!! We were not sure what kind of birthday we would be having because Taiten kept chaning his mind from...peter pan,pirates,alligator,thomas the train...you name it; he was think it!! It was not until the day before that he deciced on a Fire Truck Birthday! So I looked up some idea's for cakes and decor...The cake seemed like a breeze:) The Cake did not come as breezey as thought....but it still turned out and Taiten was sooo exicted about his fire truck cake!! I thought we did a pretty good job for amtuers.

Taiten got a suprise visit from Granpa & Granma Carter!! He was sooooo exicted to see them, and so were we!! Taiten requested to go to Red Lobster for his birthday, so lucky for Granpa; he picked the right day to come see us!! Taiten and Brycen both love, love, love Red Lobster so this is always a special treat for them! Red Lobster suprised Taiten with a special birthday song and ice cream dish with a candle!!! They also got to feel real live red lobster!! I think they were a little hesitant at first but they warmed up to it!!

Taiten Loves Bowling!! This of course it what he wanted to do for his birthday! He invited one of his best Friend Chelsea to come bowling with us! We love when we get a chance to hangout with our dear friends Adam & Lori!! We promised Taiten he could play video games at the bowling alley soooo games we did play!

DYET CHRISTMAS 2010

We had a really nice Christmas this year! It was pretty mellow this year, we had all our Family Christmas parties at the first of December. It was nice spending the week with just our family! We had a lot of fun activites planned with the boys and really enjoyed being able to have Jonathan home with us for the week of Christmas! We had Mama and Rachel over on Christmas Morning....they got the boys some cute doodle pads, uno game, and train tracks!! I apologize for not having any photos, I could not find them on my memory stick. We decided on a new family tradition for Christmas Day breakfast! We made fresh dough and had homemade scones with honey butter. We also made Fresh Hashbrowns, with mushrooms,peppers and cheese! What a treat this was sooo good! Oh and we topped it off with some Chocolate milk!! I know this is sooo not healthy, but sooo yummy!

Santa stopped by our house!! The boys were so delighted with all thier gifts!!

Boys got to spend some time with their Great grandparents, Grandma Laurie, and cousins! They were sooo cute sitting all together so patiently waiting to open presents. Their Grandma made some really cute homemade crayon holders and some really cute race car pouches that held thier race cars plus turned into a mini road. The boys loved all their gifts and spending time with grandparents & cousins!

2010 Winter Activites!

We were able to do a few other things that I did not take photos for. We went up to park city with the boys. We took them up to the mountains so they could see all the snow...since we were not getting any snow here in the valley... We also went out to Red Rock why we were up in park city another one of our favorite places! We ended our afternoon by taking the boys to the moive Tangled! Such a Cute, cute movie! This was the boys second time ever going to a movie theather so I was not sure how it would go! Tangled is an absolute must...everyone needs to see this movie, so cute! On another event we went with our good friends Adam and Lori to Thanksgiving point and drove through the lights! All the kids thought this was Awesome!! They were not happy when we were done, they wanted to drive through again! The ride home...well...that was not so much fun, they were all so tired they just wined the whole way home! Jonathan & I were able to go to the David Archileta Christmas Concert at the Conference center! Oh how I love David...he has such an amazing voice! This was my first time going to the Christmas concert! What a great one to be my first...actually it was both of our first! We really enjoyed it the spirit was special and an experience to treasure! After wards we went to desert book and waited for an hour and a half to have David sign our Christmas CD! It was funny watching all the young girls going crazy to see him!! Great evening!
Temple Square....
We were able to take the boys to Temple Square to look at the lights! We went a little later in the month...we kept waiting for it to snow, because we really like the feeling of snow,lights,& the Temple! However this was not happening so we finally went! The boys really enjoyed all the lights, we also enjoyed being able to listen to the nativity story...the boys actually listened too!!! After the lights we went to one of our favorite places, Cafe Rio! It was a great evening together!

ICE SKATING....
This was the boys first time Ice Skating! They were so, so, so exicted to ice skate! They both love going to our local grizzles Hockey team games, so they were exicted to learn to skate so they can play hockey! There little skates where so cute and watching them wobble and try to walk in them without falling was amusing...I think they thought skating was going to be a piece of cake, but they learned quickly this was not the case. Taiten and Brycen picked up actually really quickly I was really impressed with both of them...by the end of the hour Brycen was pulling me behind him!! Another 2 or 3 times an they would be pros...This was really fun for all of us

Ginger Bread Train....
We decided to to a train this year instead of our usual ginger bread house! We all really enjoyed doing this acitvity. this is one that defintely needs group effort from all ages and sizes! We had tons of fun putting this train toghether and make it our own little master piece!

Mama's 50th Birthday!
It was Mama's 50th birthday! We had her over for a special birthday dinner! She requested I made my homemade tortilla soup!! Which is soooo yummy! We had her favorite cake...white cake with rasberry filling and white frosting with coconut on top!! (I bought it from The Store) They make the best cake!! We watched a movie together called Night & Day which was really good!!

I had a wonderful Suprise visit from someone of my very special friends that I met on my mission...this is one of my most favorite families on my mission! Love, love, love them...they have been a very special part of my life, we lost contact for a little while, but we have never lost what we had...we just start where we left off!

Playin In The Snow....
I had to take these photo's of Brycen....he looked so stinking cute in his non-matching outfit! I thought the shorts added a nice touch to the put toghether especially with it being winter!! We finally got to out and play in some snow! We were going to make our traditional snowman but the snow was too fluffy...not good for packing, but we made the best of it!! Boys had a blast!

This year was going to be at my sister Jen's house....but since she lives in Idaho and the rest of us are living in the utah....she was kind enough to let it be at our place:) AS our family contuines to grow space becomes less and less....yay for procreation!!! My sister Holly is having her first baby in February and it is a girl!! Also my sister Bridgette is having a baby #4 in April and it is going to be a girl too!! So the boy trend.....has stopped! More girls, yay!! We had our party at my ward house down the street so that we could accomadate all of us....it turned at really nice:) We also had Cafe Rio ordered in so that made things really great!! We had some fun activites for the children...in which they were only half way interested in...Holly, Ryan, Laura, Mom and myself ened up finishing them....the kids just wanted to run around and have fun....their cute cousin Seth did a great job entertaining them...by playing Santa Clause:) My sister Jen brought a really fun matching game for the adults to play...which was really fun!! Every time you made a match you won a full size candy bar!!! I have to apologize to my brother Todd some how I did not get any photos of him!! Not sure if he was hiding from me but I will not let this happen next year!! Another great Christmas gathering..... It was fun to have everyone togther not one person was missing!! and we even added a new sister in law:) Love Family!!

Holy Cow!! The Big 30!!

Jonathan really wanted to make my 30th Birthday special so he planned 3 days filled full of fun and relaxation! We started off with Breakfast at Normande here in Holladay. Jonathan then suprised me with private dance lessons!! We have always wanted to do this! It was so much fun, and are instructor could have not been any more perfect!! He then suprised me with a facial by Molly!! I had her give me a chemical peel...which in the future...I would do the chemical peel on a less important weekend!! However it was great!! After the facial we got ready and went to the gateway and grabbed some snacks! We stopped into J Brooks and visited Moll and Dan! Jonathan then suprised me with the Jazz Game!! Which was Fantastic! Afterwards we went to Midway!! My most favorite place in this whole world!! We stayed in a condo that are Friend Frank got for us!! Thank you so much Frank!! It was completely perfect!! The following morning we slept in until 10 am!! Whaooooo!! I can't remember the last time I ever did that! We went to park city outlets did some shopping, grabbed some lunch at one of my absolute favorite places Red Rock! After that we went and watched a show!! This was totally random! but it was so much fun to be spontaneous!! We then went back to our condo got all fancy!! YAY!! and we went to the red horse?? Not sure but it was Fancy for sure...the food was amazing and so was the atomsphere!! When we returned to our condo Jonathan had roses sprinkled all over the room and bed, with candle lights, sparkling cider, chocolates and a card!! I then got an hour massage by he himself Mr. Dyet:) (this is a rare occasion)) We got to sleep in one more time, yay!! Oh yes, we also got pedicures too!! Thank you to my AMAZING HUSBAND!!! You made 30 seem "ageless" I could not have asked for a more amazing birthday!!!

On Friday night Jon took me to the Jazz game! Sooooo I am thinking hmmmm....was this activty for him or me.....Here is the story:) Jon searched for plays, ballets, musicals, concerts.....and by gully nothing else was going on that evening! So would the Jazz game be my first choice??? of course not:) but hey he tried his best to do something i would love! On the other hand I told Jonathan I did not want to go to a jazz game unless it was in the lower bowl....so to my suprise Jon got us tickets 12 rows from home court:) It was Awesome and I did in fact love and enjoy it,thanks Hun!

Saturday Jon took me to the park city outlets where we shopped around...he told me to buy anything I wanted :) Lucky for him, it just was not my day for finding anything I "really needed" So I made off with a hoodie....I know! We went to Red Rock for Lunch which is one of my Favorite places to go for lunch! We had some AMAZING onion rings...which almost appeared to resemble a dount... we shared are favorite steak onion sandwich...which is Divine!! Afterwards we went to a movie and watched the last 3 days or seconds?? Any way it was a great show...great action and totally intense!!

Jon Had reservations for us on Saturday night in Park City....he said we had to be dressed up nice for it, which was exicting for me! And yes it was Fancy!! We had a fantastic dinner!! They even brought me desert at the end for my birthday!!

My Birthday with Mama, rachy, Ry, Jon & Boys! Mama bought me this gorgeous cake, it was too pretty to eat....but of course we ate it!! It was a nice quiet enjoyable evening with my family!

We had a lot of fun carving pumpkins this year with the boys and Laura & Ryan....It was Taiten and Brycen's "FIRST" experience really carving pumpkins! We all had so much fun digging into the pumkins...well I guess I should say all of us but Brycen! Cute Brycen started gagging when he touched the inside of the pumpkin's guts!

Engh Garden 2010

It is our Annual Tradition to go to Engh Garden every year with all our good friends. We go every year in October, more specifically Halloween time! The kids love sitting and listening to old pirate stories and then afterward they get to go play on the pirate ship. They also have a cute child size hay maze, that all the children find so much delight in that we just watch them run through it over and over again. At the end the all get to pick out a pumpkin of their own to take home. Great for Mom's and the kids!! We had another great year!

Brycen's 3rd Birthday!

I can't believe my baby is 3!! It just blows me away to think that much time as past! We love Brycen sooo much! He is such a doll, so smart and so loving...and also on the mischevious side! He had a great birthday, we had two for him one at his grandparents and one at our home. Brycen really wanted a pluto cake for his birthday and I had no idea how I was going to pull this off... Our good freinds Josh and Jen Anderson was over the week before and Brycen told them he wanted a pluto cake and they deciced they wanted the challenge to make his cake! They did an Amazing job on it!! Brycen saw his cake and turned and looked at all of us and said "this is the BEST Birthday Ever!" So cute! Thanks Josh an Jen for all your great work:)

My little brother got Married in October! We are really happy for him and Laura's adventure in life together. They got married in the Salt Lake Temple on Octber 9th it was a beautiful wedding they both looked Amazing!! It was really emtionally for me to see my brother get married because of how close we are! I consider I have 3 roles to Ryan a sister, freind and mommy!! I was able to put on his luncheon for him and Laura which was alot of fun! I really enjoy hosting events and it turned out really nice! Ryan an Laura are renting our basement so I guess I did not really get rid of him...I really enjoy having him and Laura live with us!!

We went for a drive through Park City and Midway Canyon to look at all the fall leaves! On our drive we were able to come upon one of the most beautiful animals... A Moose! This is only the second time I have seen one, we thought it was a cow at first but as we got closer we realized it was much larger than a cow! So Amazing!!

We love Fall!! It is our favorite time of year...well Jon an I have different reason for fall, I love fall for it's beauty and Jon's mean it is almost hunting season! We had fun planting Tulips, I was so glad Jon wanted to help me! It take a lot of work!! I am excited to see what they will look like next year!

Heber Creeper~Halloween

We have been trying to go do this for the past 2 years and could never make it work...It is such a treat when we get to have Mom and Dad join us in a special activity! With the distance and busy schdules it can be almost impossible to make things happen! This year we thought it would be fun to take Brycen for an early little birthday celabration for his birthday! It just so happens that since we were going to be in Heber, that dad and mom were able to join us too! We had a lot of fun, however this may of been a better b-day for Taiten! Brycen is still a little too young and was a little bit freaked out! When we were done with the train ride, he asked if we could go home:(sad)

We had our friends over today Janie and Caleb Osmond for activity day! They had a tons of fun coloring and making sticky halloween rice krispy treats. We then made a very unexpensive fun lunch. All you need is hot dogs and cresent rolls! Just wrap the dough around the hot dogs and cook them for about 10 mins! They are always a big hit with kids, we call them wrapin the dog in a blanket!! It make them laugh at any rate.

We got a suprise invitation to the circus from my good friend Libby! She had four extra tickets for the Circus on Friday,and thank goodness we did not have any plans! The boys and even Jon and I had a blast watching the Circus production. I did feel bad for the elephants....but at any rate it was my first circus and the boys so it was neat to see. Thank you Libby!

Dew Tour!

It was a big week for us! We look forward in going to support Jonathan's brother Adam at the dew tour, where he competes in the skate boarding catagory. It is always nice having a member of your family in this event because you get vip passes so every where you go you get to go right in. I did not however have my camara with me to get pictures of Jon's brother Adam. We had fun watching the other events like motor cross and bmx bikes.

Taiten really enjoyed soccer this summer, it being his first. He was able to play with one of his buddies Caleb Osmond so that made it nice for him to know somebody. Tait did a pretty good job, he was a little confused about the part that they were not all one team they need to steal the ball from the guys with different colored shirts. At one point I had to tell tait the other team was the bad guys and to steal the ball away from them, until he started calling them the bad guys in front of the parents...I got a few dirty looks!!

Our Family Trip - In Utah!

Lagoon!

Lagoon ended our last day on our little trip in Utah! I or Jonathan had not been to Lagoon since around 19 years old so we were exicted to see if it still had the same excitement now as it did then. We invited Ryan to come along for the fun too! We all had a blast, I was thankful Ryan did come because it allowed us to take turns going on the "big kid rides" Most of the rides still made me giggle and gave me a rush...however I did feel a quezzey after coming off some of the rides...guess that means i am getting old:( The boys had soooo much fun! They rode each ride probably at least 3 times each, we did not even make it to Lagoona beach, which I was sad about, but thier was not enough time to do it all. We ended up going on a sunday which I know is bad, but that was the day it landed on for our vacation....I must say thou it made it alot nice to not have to wait in any lines! That was pretty much our summer fun for 2010!

Bear Lake - Minnetonka Cave

Saturday we got up early and headed for Bear Lake. I have been wanting to take Jonathan up to the Minnetonka Cave ever since we have been married so I figured this would be a perfect time, because our boys are old enough to handle it. I was not sure how amazing it would really be because I had not been thier since grade school. I was pleasently suprised that it was as amazing as I remembered it. We had to go down 444 steps to reach the end, which means we had to go back up 444 steps to get back. We ended up being the first for our group and had to wait about 2 hours before we could go on our tour. We headed back into bearlake where we had lunch and then drove back up. We were the the first to be back for our group in which we were right in front with the tour guide. I felt so bad for him, Taiten talked to him the entire time and had every question and beyond to ask! The boys loved it and so did we it was a really fun day. Thanksgiving Point - Country Farm

Friday we took the boys to Thanksgiving point to their country Farm, the boys had a blast looking at all the animals and using their creativity pretending to be little farm boys! They also really enjoyed thier pony ride, although I was feeling pretty bad for the ponys...This was a really fun and inexpensive activity for our family. We then spent the latter part of our day with Missy and Jason down in provo, it was great catching up on life and seeing them...hence we really do not live that far away:) After that we made our way up to Logan where we stayed with my Grandparents...the boys absoultely Love Grandpa GIB!! Even at his age he is still a blast and give the boys horsey rides and does a skin a cat!!

Heber Valley

We decided to take our family vacation in utah this year, we orginally planned to go to california to see Grandpa Dyet. Our first day started on wednesday evening where we went to the Hogle Zoo and then out to dinner with Mama to Cheese Cake Factory! Early Thrusday we got up and started our day in Heber where we rode the train, and then for an exicting rafting adventure down the provo river! We had a blast it was alot of fun the river was very calm and our rafting guide was a blast! The boys had a great imagination and kept tell the rafting guide when their where aligators approching our raft. After that we rode a bus back which they boys thought was way cool. We then went up to park city and had lunch at Squatters which is amazing, then to the big apline slides. We ended our day at our hotel in parkcity which the boys enjoyed jumping on the beds...which is defintley not allowed at our house!!

A Day WIth Grandma and Grandpa Carter

The boys and I went to Vernal for a couple of days to visit Grandma! The boys were so excited to get there I probably got asked a million times "are we their yet" We had a great time in vernal seeing the town and where grandma works. We got to go to this really cool park, probably the coolest i've been too....I was impressed the boys had a great time. We were suppost to go to the water park, but the weather did not permitt it. We also went to the historical dinosaur museum. It was a fast trip but the boys really enjoyed spending time with thier granparents!

Jonathan's 28th Birthday!

We had a great day on Jonathan birthday this year! Jon and I got to spend some of the day togehter in the morning by going to breakfast and getting a pedicure!! It was so shocking to me that Jon would actually let someone else touch his feet! It was so funny watching him tense up as the lady touched his feet! It was an added bonus to me to go with cause I got one too! We had a nice dinner later that evening at pf changs with mama and Ryan!

We always try and go to the gateway every year so the boys can play in the water. We had fun going, Taiten dove right in and started running around. Brycen was aprehensive about all the water shooting up and getting in face. He slowly decided it was not all that bad and joined in the fun. After that we went to the choclate factor and got a snack! A fun day with the boys!!

Fathers Day!

Jon has had a really busy years so I thought I would take him for a little get away to our favorite place at the Johnson mill. We had so much fun spending time with each other and just doing nothing!! We were able to take the paddle boat and the canoe out this time which we have not done in the past because we always go when it is cold. I am so grateful to an amzing husband who works harder than anyone I know, and never eliminates the possiblites of creating a wonderful life and future for our family.

T-Ball

Taiten played T-Ball in June, and had a blast!! He was a little bit of a poor sport at first when he was not able to run to the ball and get it before the other kids, but he quickly learned it was not all about him!! Also a funny little story about his last 3 games he got a confused and when he would hit the ball he would start running towards third base first in stead of first base. I guess he wanted to get to home plate fast...

Jon and the boys had a great time with great granpa fishing at the smithfield fishery. I was doing a bridal shower for Ali, so they made plans to go have a good time with Great Grandpa. They both caught two fish each, oh they couldn't have been more proud of their catch!! Wish I could of been thier with them! The boys also got to go golfing with Daddy and mikey, got to start them young!!

I had some very special, special parents from my mission come and visit. I had the opportunity to teach them on my mission and see them be baptized a couple years later they were sealed togehter in the Atlanta Temple, in which I had to miss because I had my 2 week old baby. The boys got to see them for the first time and absoutley loved them and papa's sister who came Angie. It was so good to see them and catch up. I hated to see them leave soooo soon.

Mother's Day Fun!

We had such a great time with the family! We went out to Utah lake and went fishing and had a bbq. We had bad luck with the fish...no one caught any! As Jonathan would say welcome to real fishing! After that we were able to hang out for a while and then go to dinner to Texas road house....holy cow that place was swamped!! Great food, the day past by way too fast, but it was good being with family!

I thought Taiten looked so cute in his church outfit, I thought I would take a picture to keep the memory! We bought him a watch the other day because he is so fascinated with time...he is always asking mom what time is it? So I could help but buy a watch for him! He picked his own watch and it had to have guitars on it. I thought it was cute because his grandpa danny used to play guitars. He is so proud of his watch he says that he is like daddy and brother Shakeshpere!

We were able to go to the E-Center and watch my little brother Damon arm wrestle at his tournament, he did an awesome job, he even took first place in his division. The winners of the tournament all won tickets to the Hockey game that night so we were all able to go watch the game together. The boys had a blast with Grandpa,damon, and Jacee! The Grizzles won so that made the game even better! The boys love hockey!!

Planetarium the Gateway!

Ryan and I took the boys to the planetarium downtown on Saturday! They boys had a blast looking at all the different planets. They loved watching the ball planets spin around the ceilings. They even walked on mars...ha...ha...The boys could hardly contain themselves as they ran to each little station to see what it had to offer. Taiten was pretty upset when we had to leave. After that we went to the chocolate factory and got a caramel apple coated with white chocolate and cinnamon, it was called apple pie caramel apple! It was soooo delicious!! We had a really nice outing!

I got to go with Ali to try on Wedding dresses! We had such a great time watching her try on her dresses! She knew what she wanted so it did not take long to find the one! She bought it that day and she looked beautiful!! After we went up to the Bountiful Temple where she and Mikey are getting married! It is gong to be so pretty I can't wait!

Relief Society Birthday!

Our Celebration went great!! We prepared for weeks to plan our event for relief society birthday party. We brought all our ideas together and came up with a very nice event. You never know how the final product is going to be until you put it all together. The night before we I had some good friends from our ward help me get the table put up with a few of the decorations! We decided to make our birthday just as a birthday would be so we had a lot of bright colors with tablecloths, balloons, napkins, plates, presents, ect... We had pizza brought in by 5 buck pizza which was descent and best buy for the dollar. We also had a couple of performing groups come and dance for us while we ate dinner. We then had banana splits and had an amazing arrangement by Jill Shakesphere and Cherie Birche on the violin an piano! Save the best for last we had my sister Bridgette speak on goal setting. It all went well I am pleased with it all and I want to thank my wonderful comity for being such amazing women! I am so grateful for the Relief Society organization and for the love and sisterhood it brings to us.

Disney On Ice!

We had a great time at Disney on on ice! We went with our great friends...well we have adopted them as family now! We missed the first part of the show because we got our times wrong...the children had a great time watching all their favorite disney characters skate. They were all content and sat in their seats the entire show!!! However it was only and hour and forty five mins. It seemed shorter than years past but maybe it was more easily enjoyed this time now that they are older. When the show was over it was down pouring rainy snow so we were pretty much soaked by the time we made it to the car. I loved spending time with my best friend Becca we do not get enough time together!!! Thanks Becca for going with us!

Wow! 6 YEARS It's crazy to think, yet it's not, I can't remember life any other way! We had a great anniversary celebration. Jon suprised me by sending flowers to the house why he was at work!! They are so pretty Daisy's my favorite!! I made homemade Cafe Rio for dinner...which was delish! We then went to Cheesecake Factory and got some cheescake to go...drove up past the captial to where Jon Proposed to me over 6 years ago and looked out over the valley of Salt Lake city! It was pretty chilly so we stayed long enough to have a dance as Jon sang to me "It's amazing how you can speak to my heart" by allison Kraus...not sure how to spell that one?? After that I made him close his eyes to our next destination...he...he!! Previously before our date I went and set up a room...I used one of our empty townhomes...ha...ha!! I set it up with blankets and pillows a laptop sparking cider a movie and popcorn. So back to driving I got him to the place made him keep his eyes closed and when we got to our room he opened them and started to laugh!! I told him it was the cheapest room I could find!! We had a great time, we did not stay up to late because Jon had to drive his dad to California the next Morning. A week later we went to the anniversary Inn and had a sleep over...we had a twlight movie night and just relaxed..wink...wink...I am so grateful to an amazing husband who I am still madly in love with!!
